Another Julbord
If you ever want to go to a really good Julbord, with typical Swedish food, I can recommend you the Julbord at the Grand Hotel Stockholm much. Exactly where we were namely last night. A Julbord is a (pre) Christmas dinner, which is offered as a buffet. One finds usually only Swedish delicacies, such Köttbullar, Christmas ham, Prinskorv , salmon, Jansson frestelse , Kåldomar all kinds of pickled herring, salads, cheese and of course plenty of dessert.
The Julbord at the Grand hotel costs 635 SEK per person, so much more expensive than the Julbord at IKEA, which costs only 79 SEK but still not bad. Moderately clothes there are really no rules. Many guests come naturally in a suit or evening dress. A pair of jeans and do a fancy shirt it also. It should definitely reserve a table in advance. This week, for example, was sold out everything but just Monday. Daily three different times can be booked: 12:00 clock, 15:30 clock or clock 19:30. In that price the food is only incidentally mentioned. Drinks you have extra count - and they are not quite cheap. A Falcon Julöl 0.33l costs 62 SEK. The atmosphere is beautifully decorated for Christmas. is the night view of the Royal Palace in Gamla Stan is free. Unfortunately, built on Strömkajen now and we also see many fences.
can meet her this week with any luck the way, some Nobel Prize winners in Stockholm. I think on 10 December will be held in the city, the Award Ceremony. In the Grand Hotel yesterday on site, such as the two Russian winner of the Nobel Physics Prize (Geim and Novoselov for the experiments with graphene) were. Unfortunately, the autograph table was not occupied at night half past seven. Only a some posters and leaflets were still around and it smelled of Graphene:) had
